From work environments to schools and technology to human resources, 2022 will bring many major changes. Everything is going to come out in a new avatar. There are, without any disagreement, some negative impacts of the pandemic in the social structure of the world. Nevertheless, the major takeaway from this is that we will get familiar with the change in life. So, here is the list of 10 things to look forward to in 2022.

Rivian R1T Is Coming.

As a car lover, I keep an eye on new additions to the market. Only people like me will be able to feel excited when I say the long-awaited Rivian R1T is coming out this month!! With 400 miles range with one charge, this is indeed the best off-roading E-truck today. Remember the time when Jeff Bezos rolled in a Rivian truck to his blue origin landing site?

Quantum Computing.

At the end of the year 2021, we all witnessed the craziness with the cyber world which was caused by the server flaw called Log4j. This vulnerability allows hackers to take full control over the victim device giving root access.

There were some discussions regarding quantum computing in recent years but after this fiasco which affected almost 50% of the internet now, the experts are saying it is about time to enter into the quantum cyber security world. This would enable us to tackle the issue of this magnitude promptly. And therefore creating more secure infrastructure to prevent attacks.

Covid-19 In 2022.

It’s the 3rd year of the pandemic and we have lost so much due to this disastrous viral infection. There were many consecutive waves in 2020 and 2021 respectively. But the takeaway from this could be that soon this pandemic may be over as people will start building immunity. This will be caused by mass inoculation or by approaching herd immunity. Any pandemic that has hit our world and has hit hard and we as people have prevailed and survived. We will for sure overcome this pandemic. Wear masks, Sanitize. Sanitize. Sanitize!

Working Remotely. The New Normal In 2022.

After the first lockdown in March 2020, The companies and governments started working online from home. Thanks to the tech Giants like Zoom, Google, and Microsoft, we have well adjusted to it. Some of the companies like Shopify have started transforming their way of work. As per them, as long as you are suitable for a job, your location does not matter.

This is becoming the new normal and we will be seeing more remote jobs and saving money on transportation. Some companies are even compensating their employees for home offices and furniture.

Startups In 2022.

In the past few years, startups have been on the rise. We have witnessed a lot of startups becoming unicorns and bringing in lots and lots of money. But, what we didn’t see is that many of these startups have failed as well. This year may be a new beginning with new possibilities. Why? Because now we have the what and how of being an entrepreneur. We have plenty of case studies and opportunities. Work From Home policy has opened more opportunities for tech startups. Shops are being set up on social media and delivery apps are bringing these shops closer. It is a much-anticipated change that we will be seeing in 2022.

World Forestry Congress.

As we all know the climate change has made a drastic effect on the world. According to vancouversun.com the temperature change on the earth is 1.1 degrees celsius higher than in the 1800s. This may seem nothing but this 1.1 degrees change has made some impossible things happen. We all may have read about rain in the deserts and snow where it never usually snows. This is all due to the following factors:

  1. Deforestation.
  2. Carbon emmisions.
  3. Population explosion.

The United Nations has been working tirelessly to remedy this. Different nations have come up with plans to tackle carbon emissions in 2022. The main thing on their agenda was to get rid of pollution. The goal is to decrease the level of carbon monoxide by half and more than 30% of which will be done by the plantation of trees. World Forestry Congress will be something to keep a close eye on to check how many of these goals are actually accomplished.

Travel In 2022.

As 2020 put a halt to all the international as well as domestic travel. It started catching up to its pace in 2121 when vaccination started. Movies in 2022.

We have all seen and have come to agree that the past years have been dominated by superhero movies. The movies which people thought were a waste. Now in the past academy awards, we have witnessed these movies being nominated and even won an academy award. The coming year is no different. Movies with much anticipation and massive budgets are going to be released on screen this year be it be Black Adam, Thor, Avatar, Doctor Strange, and many more this year going to be the most adventurous one up till now. There are some movies which are going to be interesting some of them are Scream, The Intern, Death on the Nile, and more. Looking forward to watching Black Adam, It should be epic!

Politics in 2022.

Politic Demographic has been on the roll in the past few years. There was a wave of conservative political views being in the power be it India, the USA, France, or Brazil. Even Canada was this close to having a conservative Government. But things are taking their turn and people are favoring democratic or more appropriately said ‘Left’. The most important political clash that will be gripping in 2022 will be the tension between US and Russia over Ukraine or the trade war Between US and China.

Metaverse.

Although, we are living in the metaverse without us knowing basically, thanks to the internet. After a major backlash regarding privacy violations, Facebook announced that it is going to rebrand itself as Meta. Now, what is interesting is that we already are part of the metaverse. We will have to see what Facebook will bring to the table in order to transform the world. There is no dispute that we need to make the internet accessible to the entire population of the world. That’s when we will say that Facebook’s Metaverse is realized.
